I definitely did not have a five-year plan that led me here.
I started my business in 2020, and what began as virtual assistant work slowly turned into… a little bit of everything. I learned as I went, figured out what I was really good at, worked with some incredible people, built a business, became a mom, became a mom again, and kept following the things that interested me.
Somewhere in there, my best friend and I started a podcast because we wanted a place to have the conversations about motherhood we were already having with each other. Mom Group Chat became something so much bigger than we ever expected, and it reminded me how much I love creating, connecting with people, and sharing my own life too.
My career has changed a LOT over the years, and I’m sure it’ll change again. These days, I work with brands and businesses on marketing and creative, create content, host a podcast, mentor women building their own service-based businesses, and probably have three other ideas I’m trying not to start at any given moment.
There hasn’t been one perfectly straight path to any of it. I’ve just gotten really good at paying attention to what lights me up, trusting myself when something feels like the next right thing, and following my enthusiasm.
And honestly? I think that’s kind of the point.
